Ms. Alam is currently Executive Officer of Development Partners International. Prior to that, she was Chief Executive Officer of Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management and Zephyr Management Africa Investment Fund, Washington D.C., with offices in Ghana and South Africa. Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management is a joint venture management company of Kingdom Holding, owned by Prince Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia and Zephyr Management, a New York based private equity company. Prior to joining Zephyr, she worked with several reputable companies, such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley & Co. Ms. Alam attended Princeton University, where she studied International and Development Economics and was also Winner of The Harry S. Truman Scholarship. Ms. Alam also has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was conferred Winner of The Annual Agri-Business Report.
