2019 Lagos Int'l tradefair connecting businesses
 
The Trade Fair is the premier International Trade Fair in Nigeria with the
spectacular 10-day event usually starting on the first Friday of November,
annually.
 
Lagos International Trade fair is the largest international exhibition in West
Africa. This year’s event themed ‘connecting businesses, creating value is a
10-day event that is scheduled to take place from 1st -10th of November at the
Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

This year’s trade fair organised by the Lagos Chamber of commerce and industry in
partnership with UBA is expected to accommodate estimated number of over a 100
exhibitors and visitors from across the globe.
The event kicked off with an opening ceremony.

In attendance were the Deputy Governor; Obafemi Hamzat, Chief Executive Officer,
UBA Africa; Victor Osadolor, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and
Investment; Hajia Mariam Katagum, President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce &
Industry and Babatunde; Paul Ruwase, Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria; Kikuta
Yutaka, Ethiopean Ambassodor Azanaw Tadesse Abreha, Ambassador, dignitaries,
members of the press and the general public.

In his address, Chief Executive Officer, UBA Africa; Victor Osadolor said; “As a
leading pan African bank committed to the economic growth of Nigeria and indeed
the entire African continent, we indeed very are happy to be part of this great
initiative that contributes significantly to the promotion of trade and
investment which are key pillars for economic growth in our country.”

He went on to add; ‘We have been supportive of entrepreneurial activities in
Nigeria and in Africa especially through our partnership with Tony Elumelu
Foundation.
We remain committed to creating and developing more successful businesses across
Nigeria and Africa by supporting existing structures that foster growth and by
building platforms that can be leveraged by all.”
 
He made the announcement of our latest innovation, our self-printing Debit Card Machine; the first of its kind in Nigeria which we believe will encourage increased usage of Debits cards and also offer more options to pay.

Among the must-visit locations at the Lagos Trade Fair is the Africa hall The Africa
hall plays host to entrepreneurs from all over Africa where customers will
experience the diversity in our culture, people and product.

The trade fair will run from the 1st to the 10th of November. Be sure to stop by

  1. Cool, I would like to attend such a business event. Such events contribute positively to the promotion of trade and investment, which are key elements for economic growth in our country. In college, I was preparing a term paper on this topic. I remember how difficult it was for me to find information, in the end I turned to specialists for help and got a high-quality result. Now I understand this topic a little.
