in appreciation of #Chief Kola Jamodu CFR, who is stepped down from the UBA
Board of Directors after 12 years of meritorious service.

As a
child, Chief Kola Jamodu always wanted to be an accountant. He initially had an
invitation to join the armed forces and even passed the entrance test but
declined because it was not his true passion.
Born
and bred in Lagos, he hails from West Iyagba in Kogi state. Chief Jamodu is a
very hard working man who combined studying and working at the same time to
help him achieve success and growth. He was not born with a silver spoon but he
worked very hard to get to where he is today.

His
work experience spans the multinational sector in Nigeria. An alumnus of the
Harvard Business School, Boston, USA, and a former Minister of Industry of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Jamodu is the Past President, Manufacturers
Association of Nigeria (MAN).

joined UBA in 2007 and has served on the board of the bank for 12 years. Among
other roles, Chief Kola Jamodu also served as the Chairman of the Board Risk
Committee and successfully completed three terms of four years each.
