UBA CREATORS UNLOCKED: A NIGHT OF CREATIVITY AND FUN

Content creation is something that one sees from the outside and thinks it’s easy until you try to create one yourself and discover a whole lot of work goes into it. It is for this reason that UBA, on Friday, 25th of October, 2024, gathered together creatives for an evening of recognition, appreciation and fun. The event known as the UBA Creators Unlocked was held to honour the top contributors to the UBA at 75 Documentary Challenge. The night brought together content creators who brought UBA’s story to life from unique perspectives, capturing the brand’s legacy, resilience, and global impact. From heartfelt narratives to innovative videos, the documentary challenge attracted creatives from all backgrounds, each bringing their voice to the story of UBA.

Actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong and influencers Omo Oba, Meshkiey, and Lola Okunrin, as well as staff members of UBA, were among those present at the event.

UBA at 75: A Celebration of Impact and Innovation

Beyond the glamour, the event celebrated UBA’s enduring commitment to innovation, creativity, and the digital transformation that has made it a leading force in African banking. This anniversary marks a significant milestone for UBA, reflecting decades of service across the continent and beyond. The creators who contributed to the UBA at 75 Documentary Challenge highlighted these themes, showing how UBA has not only impacted the banking sector but has also influenced the cultural and economic landscape of Africa.

Celebrating the Creative Spirit

At the event, UBA staff mingled with creators and guests, bridging the gap between the corporate world and the creative community. The event reinforced the value UBA places on creative storytelling and its role in bringing the brand’s mission to life.
