I joined the iROKOtv team as an early executive member, which initially brought me back to Nigeria occasionall<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.7pt;\">y<\/span>. Some days believe me, I just feel like<br \/>\nquitting; and some time I wished I was here 10 years ago. The one thing that has gotten me through the last two years<br \/>\nis the tremendous level of hope within the nation no matter<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.05pt;\"> the challenges. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0in -1.0pt 0in 0in;\"><b><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'century gothic' , sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;\">In your<br \/>\nopinion, when is the best time to start a<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.2pt;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>business?<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0in 2.9pt 0in 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'century gothic' , sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;\">There are only two times I think<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.05pt;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>you can consider starting a<br \/>\nbusiness. One is when you spot an<br \/>\nopportunity and the second is when<br \/>\nyou feel read<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.7pt;\">y<\/span>. There is no<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.05pt;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>perfect time, no perfect place or feeling; nothing can prepare you for running a business and giving up the safe security of a<br \/>\nsalar<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.7pt;\">y<\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0in -1.0pt 0in 0in;\"><b><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'century gothic' , sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;\">What<br \/>\nwere the challenges i.e. raising capital? <\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0in 7.8pt 0in 0in;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'century gothic' , sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;\">I was extremely fortunate to have been able to raise my initial capital from spark.ng, which shares the same co-founders as<br \/>\niROKOt<span style=\"letter-spacing: -.7pt;\">v<\/span>.com. I was informed of their fund early<br \/>\non and quickly capitalized on the<br \/>\nopportunity by presenting my proposal.
