To excel in life you have to make<br \/>\nextra effort to read outside your immediate course of study. Reading expands your intellectual base<br \/>\nenabling you to discuss intelligently any topic that comes up. Reading turns you into a<br \/>\nsought after employee.\u201d <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">\u201cReading<br \/>\nis like digging for gold. It is not gotten on the surface, you must dig deep to<br \/>\nfind gold. Make time and dig deep to acquire knowledge through reading,\u201d he<br \/>\ntold the students who listened attentively. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">Ijeoma Aso<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">, MD<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">\/CEO, UBA Foundation, explained that the reason for the special<br \/>\nreading session at the school was to make students develop their potential<br \/>\nthrough reading. <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">\u00a0\u201cYou should use the time you have now to read as many books<br \/>\nas you can, as there is no limit to knowledge. No knowledge gained is wasted.<br \/>\nPeople who do not read are educated illiterates\u201d. She told the students.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">After the reading sessions, Mr. Adikamkwu and Ms. Aso distributed<br \/>\ncopies of the literary classic \u2018Things Fall Apart\u2019 written by Africa\u2019s literary<br \/>\ngiant, Chinua Achebe to the students\u00a0and led the students through a<br \/>\nreading session of selected chapters from the novel. They later answered<br \/>\nquestions from the students. <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;\">The Principal, Coker Senior Secondary School,<br \/>\nMrs. Omowo Omobosede thanked UBA Foundation for the kind gesture and for<br \/>\nchoosing Coker Secondary School. She further thanked<br \/>\nthe bank for its interest in rekindling the reading culture of students. \u201cWe<br \/>\nare overjoyed, as our hope has been rekindled with the recognition by a big<br \/>\nbank like UBA for this initiative.\u201d she said. <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"
