Our CEO could not have said it any better. That piece of dialogue followed the announcement of 3,000 staff being promoted back in 2017 and it highlights our commitment to our people.
Investing in Our Tribe is at the heart of our service at UBA. We recognise the role that Our Tribe play in protecting the interests of this great institution as well as taking UBA to greater heights. We do not take any chances with these people, and we have set up various training programs to equip these young men and women with all the they need to succeed. Your success is our priority, with the understanding that when you succeed, we succeed. Hence, we have set up various trainings and programs to help Our Tribe on their journey to the apex of their careers.

We understand that the only way to get the best results and continually stay ahead of the curve is to continually sharpen our most important asset–our people. In commitment to this, in 2008, we set up the UBA Academy as a force to reckon with in continually training and developing our workforce, so they can continue to be at the forefront of best-breed professionals in the world.
Our dedicated Learning and Development professionals are always on top of closing any detected competency gap in our workforce. UBA Academy adopts a mix of different learning methods ranging from e-learning programmes, classroom trainings to off-site trainings both locally and abroad.
Graduate Program
UBA Graduate trainee programme aims to inspire participants to discover the next stage of their lives after graduation. The mission is to facilitate new understanding and life-changing learning. Through our engaging classroom environment, participants will learn from industry experts, and cultivate a master’s level business mind.
