Salary Corporate Card Cards also known as Payroll Cards are alternatives to salary accounts to pay your employees. It is only denominated in Naira and employees can access their funds on any of our digital channels. Employers only require their employee’s phone number, email address, and bank verification numbers (BVN), and employees can be funded from the company’s UBA Account or Prepaid Card using any of our digital channels.

For your company’s BTA and other travel expenses, you would require a UBA Corporate Travel Card. It can be denominated in Naira or Dollars for local or international transactions respectively. The detail of the users will be tied to the card.

UBA Corporate Expense Card are denominated in NGN and USD for both local and International transactions.

UBA Co-branded Card

UBA can partner with businesses to provide co-branded cards as gift cards, school IDs, means of payment for financial institutions, and rewards.

  • – Financial institutions: These institutions use cobranded cards essentially as a means of payment, and loan disbursement (for Microfinance Bank).
  • – Loyalty programs: Cobranded cards are key input elements in setting up loyalty (reward) programs for customers of an organization
  • – School’s ID cards: Schools use cobranded cards as both a means of identification and payment.
  • – Gift cards: These are prepaid cards loaded with a specific amount of funds redeemable only by purchase of items. Holders of these cards can purchase items only to the tune (value) of the fund on the card. Funds on the card can be used up in one or multiple purchases, within the validity period of the card. They are non-reloadable cards.

Customer ID or Client ID is the 10 digits inscribed at the back of your prepaid card. 

You can access the funds on your UBA Prepaid Card via the UBA Mobile App, Internet Banking, or Leo.

When initiating your online transactions, you are to use the Web Code on your pin mailer. It is shown as Web Portal Passcode on the pin mailer. 

  • – Visit https://www.gtpsecurecard.com/UBA/Login.aspx to log in to your prepaid card profile.
  • – Input your client ID as the username and WebCode on your pin mailer as your passcode for the first timer.
  • – Create security questions, answers, new username, and pin.
  • – Validate your email address, and enter the code sent to the mobile number linked to your card.
  • – Once logged in, enter the duration of the statement required and export to PDF or CSV as you wish.
  • – Visit https://www.gtpsecurecard.com/UBA/Login.aspx to login to your prepaid card profile.
  • – Input your client ID as the username and WebCode on your pin mailer as your passcode for the first timer.
  • – Create security questions, answers, new username, and pin.
  • – Validate your email address, and enter the code sent to the mobile number linked to your card.
  • – Click on Change PIN or Password and follow the prompt

Visit any UBA Branch to get an instant or personalized card. You can specify the type of prepaid card you want.

You can activate your prepaid card at any UBA ATM close to you using the ATM PIN on the pin mailer that was given with the card.

Select the ‘Change PIN’ option on the ATM, input the default PIN, and change it to your desired PIN.

You can only fund a UBA Prepaid Card from a UBA Account using any of our digital channels

You would not be able to transfer Dollars from your UBA prepaid card to other local USD accounts or vice versa. However, you can transfer from your UBA Prepaid Card to your UBA USD account and vice versa via UBA Internet Banking or at the branch,

Only cash-loaded cards can be withdrawn from the branch. Inflows such as PTA, foreign inflows or Paypal can only be withdrawn on any international ATM or spent via card online or on POS.
