The service has a maximum send limit of 1000USD naira equivalent per customer every quarter and is available to account and non-account holders.

How to Send Money
Send Money;
- Visit any UBA office with your Valid ID card and complete the MoneyGram Send form with transfer details.
- Your recipient’s full name matching their ID and their location.
- Save your receipt and share the 8-digit reference number with your recipient for pick-up.
How to Receive Money

At Branch:
Visit any UBA Branch with valid means of identification: The only acceptable means of ID for MoneyGram is the Bank Verification Number.
- The reference number provided by the Sender
- Receiver’s first and last name.
- Sender’s first and last name.
- Receiver’s complete home address, street, City/Town.
- Receiver’s telephone number
- Receiver’s signature
Direct to Account:
- Sender to select ‘Direct to Account/Bank’ option and input receiver’s UBA Account
- Money is transferred directly to your account

Yes, customers without BVN can provide any of the other forms of ID and must be referenced by an account holder of the bank.
Yes, with BVN walk-in customer can collect MoneyGram transfer.
No. Transactions can only be paid in Naira.
No, your transaction reference is pin which secures the transaction do not communicate same to any third party, you will be required to key-in the 8 digit number on pin pad to pull funds.
