In Zambia, on Friday, 13th November, the Bank, under UBA Foundation’s Read Africa initiative, donated 200 African literature books to Grand View Academy, a Lusaka based School which is supported by the Zambia Police Service.
While receiving the donation, Zambia Police Commissioner in charge of Administration, Lillian Kamukoshi, commended UBA for the good gesture and said the donated materials will help improve the children’s reading culture.
