Requirements to Receive money
Customers can receive money either at a UBA branch or directly into their UBA Account
At Branch;
- The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)
- Acceptable means of identification (International Passport or Driver’s Licence)
- Expected Amount
- The receiver’s name, address and phone number
- Sender’s name and country
- Test Question and Answer where applicable.
Direct to Account;
- Sender to select ‘Direct to Account/Bank’ option and input receiver’s UBA Account
- Money is transferred directly to your account

- Sender’s name, Phone number, address
- The receiver's name, number and country
- Amount to be sent
- Sender's valid means of identification
- Test Question and Answer where applicable
